Burn, Baby, Burn

OMG. You know how I said that I touched one of the hot peppers and then touched my face and it burned? Yeahhh... I washed my hands but apparently did not get it all off. While I was in the shower, I touched my face and it spread. It was all under my eye, on my forehead and on my cheek and, you guys, it BURNED. The warm shower water DID NOT HELP, either. So I was trying to be speedy and finish up in the shower so I could do something about it and then I got body wash in my eye or something. That also burned. By the time I was out, I was jumping around and basically crying. I ended up, per my dear father's advice, washing the areas with Dawn dish soap and it took the burn away. Needless to say, I did not wear my contacts or foundation today. Ay, ay, ay. What a sad salsa time. I do not appreciate that, hot peppers. No, I do not.
